Be logical. When you are absolutely sure you're not missing any steps on YOUR route, that means you're taking the wrong route ^^;

edit: tested. I see where you're losing 2 steps. Lol. sometimes it's more effective to do something before you leave than to come back and do it later.

I got to level 54 in 9:52 (9 minutes, 52 seconds) 8)

Not first try obviously rofl. I mean, that's pretty impressive. I got to 29 way faster than that, but got stuck on 29 and 30 for a bit <__>!

Oh wow the last 2 steps on lvl 38 are genius (if I'm thinking of the right level). It's called like the long way home, right?

Also I'm gonna try that trophy case stage. The fact that Reach took 30 minutes to beat it scares me.

It's just a clever level. Nothing ground breakingly challenging, but I liked the shortcuts.

Old story short: I beat lvl. 30 in two minutes today after doing the wrong move over and over for two hours the other day. Keep cheering for the stumped that they will learn the move.

Can't get 39, dammit

I stopped when getting to 39 yesterday and I tried it now instead, wasn't that hard. Hint: Look at the amount of steps you're going to use, it's very low. The beginning is where your problem probably is.
