Geometry was fairly easy for me...mainly because I was in a class full of "stupid" people....by stupid I mean average. I took algebra twice because I didnt feel that I understood it to my fullest potential the first time through. It turns out that taking it a second year was just a waste of time because about half way through the year I recieved an award for an "outstanding accomplishment" on the California Standards Test thing which is supposedly really hard to get. Oh well, I am now a junior in a Algebra 2 Honors class full of Sophomores.

What do you find so difficult in Geometry qreep...maybe we can help.

First of all... HAH. Second, you took a standardized test in the middle of the year? odd. Third, HAH! You're a junior in a class of sophomores! (which I assume is Algebra II/Geometry class?)

I'm not in highschool, thus its a little harder.

Its not that bad. Its just boring as fuck, and postulates and theorums are annoying as fuck.

And our teacher gives sumpuous amouts of homework....sigh.

I did take a standardized test in Middle School because the Algebra class I was taking was a High School class. I am now taking Algebra II honors which, for IB Sophomores, is a required class. I am not the only junior; just one out of a few.

Let me explain how dumb my geometry class was. Half of the students were seniors/juniors. And I managed to stay within the top 3 of my class even after going to Chicago for a week missing a test and 5 homework assignments. Also, my friend who had a C in the class was number 12....

Qreepy, there's only three things you can do about the homework, four if you have a giving teacher.

                1. Do it
                2. Not do it.
                3. Copy it.
                4. Do some now, finish later and turn it in late.

My algebra I class (story below) was actually full of fairly smart people. Lazy smart people, that is. The average person (inlcuding me) had a god-awful amount of missing assignments. Our teacher loved giving out three assignments each period, two small, one big. We just did all the small ones, which counted as much as the big one.

when I entered high school, they threw me into a normal algebra class. Their reason was that my middle school didnt teach "proper" algebra and they felt I needed instuction. Even after I demonstrated my understanding on some Placement Exam, they only bumped me up to an accelerated algebra class. Most wasted. year. ever.

Oh well, I least I convinced them to let me skip geometry this year. Algebra II, yay.

Yeah... I'm in integrated geometry 2 (A year ahead of where I should be) and I have YET to miss a single point. We've had a homework assignment everynight, about 10 questions, I do it normally under 5 min, get full credit. The quiz's make me laugh. Good god, I WANT OUT! Give me Algebra 3-4 or something, I like that more anyway. I have some friends that took Algebra 3-4 in 8th grade... sad...

THE MATH PROGRAM IS MAKING US ALL STUPID! I'M DOING THE SAME STUFF I DID 4 YEARS AGO! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

geometry was easy. i took it in 9th grade with all the other "smart kids" and a couple of juniors who were... well, lets just say special for the sake of those of you i would insult if i said otherwise

wait till you get to calculus. if you feel like taking your life now...

Geometry class? Algebra class? In Canada, you take MATH. There are different levels of math, yes, but seriously, who needs an entire class for geometry? We take a unit on polynomials, a unit of geometry, etc. Does that not make more sense?

HAHAHA I'm only in 7th grade and we don't get that kind of ghetto math yet. My dad forces me to learn it anyway, though.
