i am sooo ticked at this winamp plugin!here's what the readme says,i don't understand...WinampDDR(vis_ddr.dll)
------To play Diet(Dance) Diet(Dance) Revolution in winamp!
System requirements:
For better performance, a Pentium II class CPU is
recommended. And, to play DDR in winamp, you must have
the wave files and the MSD files(*). It will be easier
to do the configuration if you've got a copy of Diet Diet
Revolution on your hard disk.
I've got all that....
(*)
- What the heck is MSD file?
- MSD file stores the "footstep" data in the DDR game.
If you've got a copy of DDR on your hard disk, msd
files can be found in the MSD sub-directory in the DDR
directory. For example, C:\Ddr99\msd. And you can also
download them from some DDR sites. Remember, while
running this plugin, there must be a MSD file for every
wave or mp3 file. Otherwise an error box will pop up.
Exactly. What the heck is an MSD file, and how do i make one?
How to play:
Before you play this plugin the first time, you must
configure your MSD files directory in winamp. Just run
Winamp, press Ctrl-K and click the item named "Diet Diet
Revolution for Winamp 1.0a" listed in the visualization
plugin box. Then click the Configure button and the WinampDDR
Config dialog appears. Press the Select MSD directory button
to select your MSD file path. Since then, when winamp begins
to play a new wave file, it will automatically search the
MSD path and get the right MSD file.
Now we can play! Simply run Winamp, start the plugin,
play some music file and say here we go. Presently the plugin
only supports keyboard input. And support for dance pad will
be added soon.
that dose'nt help me a damn.
Hints:
-Since winamp supports MP3 format, why not convert all the
wave files to mp3 format? It can largely save your disk space.
-You can switch the diffciculty level during your playing!
Simply press Ctrl-K and click the radio buttons in the Config
box. The game level will be changed "silently". I take these
two features as a great advantage over the DDR game.
now,i don't know how to add msd files to my directory!!!!omg!
