I was watching Attack of the Show and they showed off this game, and it looked pretty cool. I got it and it IS pretty cool. The more you play around with it and learn the specials and try different modes the more fun it is, and I thought it might be cool if we could get a multiplayer game going with us FFR people. It's completely free to download from the site, and is pretty fun so far. Give it a shot, why don'tya?

I've known about this game FOREVER, I just forgotten what it's called.


It's actually hyper-good. Imagine Street Fighter, but beat-em-up style. The super moves acutally take practice.

And for those of you that have the game: what character would you say is best? I've only played with a couple, Firen and Deep. I don't think they have any difference in HP/attack/whatever, just special moves. So which specials would you say are best?

i just saw that episode this morning, and found the game. but i found out that the "family computer" is too slow to run a 32-bit style game. It ended up crashing the computer. (and my computer is being worked on right now)

I played it a lot two years ago. Its a good game for a freebie, but gets a little boring after a long time. Multiplayer isn't too hot either.

Rudolf is the best, hands-down. Pulling his Double move several times + Vanish = Awesome

I dunno man, Rudolf runs out of mana way too fast. That splitting thing is kinda cool, though...I still like Firen the best so far, but I have to play with everybody. The fire attacks are pretty strong, especially in the campaign (or whatever it's called) because the enemies get hit as soon as they get up. You do his fire run thing through a group and they all get knocked over, then knocked over again when they get up. Then launch some fireballs into them and juggle them around so they die. <3 Firen

Me and eb tried to do a multiplayer game, but we can't seem to connect. Has anybody here successfully done multiplayer? Is there anything else we need to get, or is it like, firewalls or something?

But yeah... It iS really fun... Especially that to be able to win, you have to be able to be good with combos and such, not button mashing... I personally like the flute guy the best...

This game is awesome! The 2 best chars are Freeze and Firen! In the stage mode, take one on them and choose the other one as cpu with you, and you wont have any problem!

So seriously, can anybody get multiplayer to work? I really wanna try going through the levels with somebody else. The computers just aren't as fun!

I think it only works through LAN...

It works just like SM LAN, from what I can tell. You put in an IP address of a person who has said to wait for another player to connect. I think Jumper works like this, too. I've gotten both of those to work before, and I'm wondering if it's just the connection between me and Snapps that is the problem. I'll try it with Hydro if I can ever get his lazy self motivated to do it. I was just wondering who here has tried and who has been successful. It would be awesome to get 8 FFRers going through the missions together!

Guys this is a truly great game, I like using...Umm The dude with the bows(Couldn't remember the name) and Freeze. My two favorites but I still would like to explore more with the others. Does anyone know how to grab? I'm too lazy to find out.
