The majority of the world starts High School at 10th grade. Just because you are attending classes at a school which also happens to be a high school doesnt mean that you are a "high schooler". My mom taught at a k-8 school. Just because the little six year olds share a campus with middle school students doesnt make the 6 year olds Middle Schoolers.

          I agree with Jewpin.

It was so scarry, I saw this freshman, and i'm serious, he was like 3 feet tall and faillingly attempting to be a pimp . And some kid with black lipstick, black eye shadow, black hair, 2 lip rings, 2 nose rings, chain between each... it's sad when idiots try to look cool, they just look stupid.

I'm in a just built highschool! A few of the rooms arent even done yet, I hear the drafting kids have to sit in the library and listen to wood lectures. All my classes are teachable at the moment. I cant wait till next year when I can officially boss all the kiddies around. Senior Privilege!
            Nice.

Look High School starts at 9th grade period...just because you attend a 'high; school doesnt mean you are a highschooler
(ex. my high school is grades 10-12, thats right no freshmen...but freshmen are high schoolers, evn though they attend what we call a junior high school...they are not junior high students, they are high school students....and i feel the same works backwards)
the reason they put 8th graders in the high school is because the lower school is too crowded or the high school doesnt have enough students or both....with my high school, there is no room for freshmen, so they take class at another building, a junior high...my school isnt small, we have 2400 students 10-12, not even counting freshmen...with freshmen it would be around 3400, because we get or students from 2 junior highs, and our school is already crowded as it is...anywho thats my take

My opinion: you are not a high schooler. You just happen to share the same campus with high schoolers. My opinion is the minimum for high schoolers is 9th grade, this coming from an 11 year old 7th grader.

Yah, I was just talking about how I'd like to live there except I don't think I'd like the cold. I live in Texas so it doesn't get that cold here in the winter. Trust to me it's freezing enough but not compared to there I'm sure. But the heat here is truly unbearable, it makes me sick to go outside :P Thank god it's almost over with, I love the fall..

Wow, you guys are so friendly, it's amazing this board isn;t over-run with people wanting to join in.

                          By the way, sarcasm much?

Anyway, I wouldn't be too excited to be entering into high school. My entire high school experience has been hell. Thinks are finally, finally starting to pick up, here, now that I'm a senior. Yay for me, only one year to be happy in a group setting. :P

Texas, eh? That's neat. I don't think I could tolerate the heat there, either. It gets up to the mid-thirties in Alberta, and that seems really hot to me, but I know it's nothing compared to other places. We get to mid-minus thirties in the winter, though. But you get used to the cold. It's not bad. So, yeah, we have pretty extreme weather here. Other parts of the country it doesn't get as cold though, like BC, or Ontario, and the Atlantic provinces.

Yeah Texas........weeee...isn't too great, lotsa rednecks. Lived here all my life and I'm sick to death of it.

BC is where I'd like to go, seems like a pretty open minded/ diverse
place to live. Seems like Canadians are pretty friendly too.

Have you ever watched Bowling For Columbine, it's really good. Where I live in BC the coldest I ever remember it getting is like, 7 years ago, on my birthday it snowed and was like, -3 or -4 degrees celsius, and that's nothing. Last year it was just cold rain, pissed me off...... Did that guy say the atlantic provinces don't get cold?..... You've never bin there in winter have you? And in my opinion, yes I am in highschool. So :P
