How much is all that worth so far? I don't know much about motherboards but I know 1000MHz FSB is fast... A decent processor speed is 2.0Gigs or more... Honestly you don't need more than 533MHz for your motherboard, but 800MHz is nice. For gaming the video card matters most.

See, that processor I would use, but currently I have 2 setups.

1-a 754 PIN motherboard with a 24 PIN PSU
2-a 954 (I Believe) MB With a 24 Pin PSU

I might scope around ebay a little, as I have a month or two before I build this computer.

It's worth about 930 bucks, and im 'thinking' about changing the Power Supply Unit'. Then everything else is good in my eyes.

I think I have a few things to edit, so check back-think I changed it all around.

If you want to get more ram in the future to reach the 4gb that the mb lets you get, I recomend getting a 1 stick gb so that you won't end up having to buy so much. Unless you are really into computers and will just use it for another machine.

How vital is the power supply? I want to know if I should cheap out on it or not to save money.

There you go, I found it very helpful, although I don't know what size tower I'm going to have by the time I get a new computer. Any recommendations on tower size?
Another Question:
If a tower comes with a power supply, is it safe to switch it out with a different Power Supply unit?

When I made my computer I always got a tower that had a power supply in it. If you do a search on google, you could find out how much each part wants, but for the most part, if they sell it its going to be enough.

OKAY, DON'T LISTEN TO ANYONE ELSE AND TAKE THE FOLLOWING ADVICE.

First off, you rule for buying from Newegg. They rock.

Okay, for the most part it looks like a decent rig for the price. Why the hell are you putting all of that cooling gear on a 3200+? Unless you're planning on overclocking it to 4000+ speeds, you don't need that big of a cooler on it. And if you aren't planning on doing so, I suggest dropping the PS to about 400-450 watts.

One more thing: Don't get an IDE harddrive. Go for an SATA. I know, they may be $10 more, but it is so worth it. I'm serious. If you get two and put them in a RAID 0 array, you won't be able to comprehend the speed difference between one IDE HDD.

Tnyhwk's damn right about your HDD. You don't want the MAIN THING THAT STORES EVERYTHING to be slow, now do you?

I suggest dropping the PS to about 400-450 watts.

Well...if you're really, really tight on cash you can, but otherwise I'd say stick with what you have. The best guideline for how much power you should get? More than you think you'll ever need, because you'll probably end up needing it. And a shitty or weak PSU can bog down your whole system.

Ive done a little searching.

The case I picked out (Looked around) comes with a 500 watt power supply, so im gonna drop that from the list.

I will be doing a LITTLE Overclocking, but not too much to fry the system.

Hard-Drives, i'll take Your advice TnyHwk900 and look around.

I am going to edit the first post now and show the updated hardware.

I am a bit tight on money, as this is taking a month and a half to save for, but I think it's worth it.

2) It has 8 MB cache compared to the 2 MB on your pick. More cache= faster read/write times, and 2 to 8 MB has a significant boost in speed.

Once Hitachi comes out with their new perpendicular stuff, it's all about them.

Well, maybe not for computers, but certainly for smaller devices.
