Wait, why doesn't everyone do this?

We all have heard of those iPod4free, and DS4free, notebook4free, etc... sites, and i know at least a few people have tried doing this. So what I'm wondering is this. They have some notebooks that are sold for about 1200 dollars, and you have to refer 18 friends and get them to complete an offer. There are offers that cost about 5 dollars, and give credit the next day. So why hasn't someone just started paying people to do one of these offers? i could pay 25 dollars to each person (5 to cover the cost, and 20 dollars for your 10 minutes of time). That would cost 450 dollars. That means I could either get a brand new pretty good notebook for 450 dollars, or i could turn around and sell it for 1,000 dollars and make a 550 dollar profit. So why hasn't someone set up a sight which pays people to do one of these offers? Probably not entirely legal, but it seems like it'd be pretty easy to do. And the great thing is, each person could do an offer for every item. So potentially someone could earn 200 dollars in an hour and a half (20 dollars profit per offer, and let's say there are 10 different items you can complete an offer for). And the referrer could get name brand high quality electronics for dirt cheap (DS and a game for 80 bucks, anyone?)

NOTE that there isn't a link in this post, so this is not spam. I'm more or less just wondering why there aren't a whole bunch of sites like this, or at least people doing this (maybe there are and i just haven't seen it)

    RE: Wait, why doesn

They don't actually send you all of that stuff. If this were true, then I'm sure many people would be doing this.

          RE: Wait, why doesn

I can gurantee you 100% that they DO indeed send you the stuff.

EDIT: And don't just say I'm an idiot, explain why you feel that way. The math is there, the concept doesn't appear to be flawed.

            RE: Wait, why doesn

The reason why you are an idiot is in my post.

Anyways, if the concept wasn't flawed then you would be doing this.

              RE: Wait, why doesn

THEY DO SEND YOU THE STUFF. This has been verified probably thousands of times, and I'm not sure why you don't believe it. Some Google ads can get up to over 50 dollars, and these offers actually make you sign up, get the product or a free trial. So don't you think if a simple click is worth 50 dollars that getting someone to actually use your product would be worth a fifth of a DS. Or a nineteenth of a notebook.

              EDIT: gg.

                RE: Wait, why doesn

I think they actually do send you the stuff or else you could sue them for fake publicity. But I didn't verify that.

Gratis is 100% legit, along with some other sites.

That's what a lot of people do Suicidal. They offer like $15 per referrall that they get. That's the best way to do it. However, I didn't have to do that to get my free iPod back in August. Although it was very hard to get even 5 referrals.
