Tuesday Run

At my school we have the Tuesday run. But I have it as my second period today so I'm gonna' be way too tired. Also, it is really cold where I live right now and we don't even have long pants. Only lame shorts. It's kinda' bad. Anyone else got to do this stuff?

I've never even heard of something like a running day. The closest my high school has ever gotten to that is when I had to run for an entire PE period, which still sucked.

Please explain this "Tuesday Run"

Over here, we just ran a mile everyday in Gym. That was it. Sometimes there'd be little differences, but it was all basically the same thing.

I got so angry at the teacher for doing this and expecting improvement that I just walked the last mile we did. I got 3/4 laps done while everybody else was done. I was just waving as I passed by the people watching me.

Oh yeah, I ran in sandals too. Shoes are for squares.

Yeah, you're not being specific. What exactly do you do on a running day?

All we have is running day in PE. Which is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Run a mile in less that 7 min. for an A. That was truely very hard. But my PE coach would give us extra credit if we ran the perimeter, which is 2 miles. And that all had to be done within the 45ish minutes of class.

Man do I miss 9th grade year with PE.

Heh. We had no running day, but I ran 2.5-3 today, anyway, for track. I was stuck with the long distance guys, what the fuck. I got to do sprints afterwards, though.

Well, we have a class called "something physical" where you play basketball and stuff, but very few people ever take it, and the ones that do are rarely into it.

Or so I've heard. I've, of course, never taken it.

Thank God there isnt Running Day at my school. Running is stupid. Running is devolution. Running is Mankind's enemy, that is why mankind invented the bike.
