    MSN Messenger Virus... Oops! :D

So yeah... I got this message from a friend that says something with the link hydr0 in it and your e-mail address... Feel free to click the link as it does nothing, but what it does is it takes every single person in your msn friends list (120+ for me) and sends them a message with their e-mail address in the link saying that they've found a pic of you...

This is fake... I fell for it on accident... As did Snapps... HAHA Sucka!

But yeah... Many of you might have gotten a message like this, but from what I know, it doesn't do anything bad to your PC, just uses your friends list to spread the message... Personally I think it's kind of cool, because I expect it will be getting on the news sometime soon, because there are A LOT of people who will click the link and then it will send to numerous people... Do some exponential math, and it equals big numbers...

Hanyways... Just wanted to warn you guys... Personally, I think you should click it anyways just to spread the spam...

    RE: MSN Spam... Oops!

Uhh bull. It gave me an MSN virus because I saved it.

It should name a folder in C:\Program Files called 999. Open Ctrl Alt Delte and clear off msmsgs.exe and msngms.exe. Now you should be able to delete that folder. It was some sort of Ad-Ware.

Thank you Polish Pat for the nice spam.

Hmmm... Well then... I opened it instead of saved it, and it was on a school pc, so who gives a shit anyways, eh? lol

That and I chose to block the program that was running, instead of letting it be unblocked, cuz the computers had xp on them... Meh...

Virus it is I suppose... Watch out guys... Ima getcha!

Sigh, hadn't heard of it, but it got the message from snapps. Luckily for me, I knew not to click on it from the looks of it.

I deleted it again because it came back. It was a trojan/MSN virus.

I system restored, everything should be working well now.

No, thats why you don't click things that are .exes and links with you're email account in it.

Doesn't matter anyway, I learned my lesson.

Looks like there are some mirrors to it now, so it's not just hydr0 in it... I got a couple links from people today while I was at work, but I learned the first time...
