Legit Comedy Essay Proposal

So yeah... As many of you might know, I have night school now because of what I did with my former essay... ~sigh~

But I have changed! I swear it!

Here is my proposal that we had to do and my topic is on comedy through the ages... Tell me what you think...

Comedy through the Ages
The main purpose of comedy is to make people laugh, to give people an enjoyable time, and make people feel better if they aren’t having such a great day. The great thing about comedy is that it can take so many forms from what was the ideal comedy in the form of plays and short stories, to what is now expressed in forms such as movies and stand-up comedy. What I propose that I would like to do my research paper on is how comedy has changed through the ages from as early 300 B.C. to the 1700’s to the current year of 2005. One thing that remains true about comedy even through over 2,000 years of change is that the basis of comedy and what it stands for has remained the same. Comedy is a type of drama that has to do with human behavior and its humorous and ridiculous aspects as well as normally having a playful mood and happy endings.
The reason I would like to research this topic is because I would consider myself a fairly funny person, and most of the people who I look up to happen to be comedians. Many of the greatest comedians have changed a lot of people’s aspects on life and their environment from such people as Eddie Murphey, Lewis Black, and Larry The Cable Guy to other comedians of the past that used literature as their forms of media from such people as Aristophanes, Shakespeare, Richard Steele, and Oliver Goldsmith. The reason comedy is such a major aspect of life is that a witty remark or a humorous line from a play can totally change your mood in an instant. Comedy is pretty much a major part of life, as well as one of the many trends that exist within American society, and most importantly, throughout the world as one of the universal languages of all people.
When it comes to where I would be able to get my sources for this research paper is all over the internet. Finding information on the chronology of comedy would be fairly easy as well as finding out who were the major playwrites of the past to who were the turning-point comedians of the present. Finding out what comedy means to people could be easily researched as well as how comedy has changed from comedian to comedian. Since comedy is such a major thing in life, it should be fairly easy to research from plenty of books on biographies of comedians and from sites that talk about comedy as well.

First off... It's supposed to be one page MLA format, but I got it to be a page and a half cuz I am getting really into this topic...

Second off... That's not an essay... It's nothing but a mere proposal on what our 6+ page essay is going to be about...

Third off... I aint faking nothing... That was written by me, Patrick Zajda, in a period of 40 minutes at 9 PM in room 117 at Borah High School at night school in Boise, Idaho, USA... I'm goin' legit all the way man...

Just so you know... The essay that I ripped off the internet last time, was 6 full pages, not half a page... And thanks for the nice little suggestions, but I'll stick with what I have, except for a few of those suggestions...

And again... That schpeal is a PROPOSAL... Not an essay... Silly...

First off... You're Canadian... Aren't you? AREN'T YOU!? .....i can tell.....

And second off... I DO use tab, and double space, and center the title... But none of that carries over from word to pasting it in this thread... So no worries... I use tab like you do in Canada...
