Anyways, if possible, I wanna show you guys the purikura I took with her. It's kind of hard to explain, and it's very rare to see it in America, so I wanna show you guys.

Well, here. This is one that my friend sent me. Purikura is cool. The level of cuteness far surpasses that of any anime song that Kilga has or will ever step. You guys just don't understand cute.

The good times are just starting.

I've pretty much gotten used to everything now, and my Japanese has improved a lot. Knowing the routine and being able to communicate on a higher level really helps. When I go back to school, I am going to be able to meet a lot of new people because I will take some different classes.

My next big challenge is traveling out of the city by myself. It's kind of hard, because I don't really know how the train system works here, but if somebody taught me I think I'd get it.

Unfortunately, I will just start to feel really comfortable and in tune with everything here right about when I have to leave.

3 months is just too short.

I do have a Japanese penpal. Actually, it is the girl that I hosted in March. She's cool, and she likes Evangelion. But, since it is the Golden Week, she's been on vacation so I havent heard from her in a few days. I'm also going to start emailing some of the other Japanese students who stayed in my city. However, I would like some information on the chatrooms.

I'm only going to be staying in Japan for a little over 2 weeks...so I really wont have enough time to adjust to anything. The program is kind of a sampler of Japan. But I do enjoy my stay in Japan, I will most likely study there during college for awhile.

Damn you are so lucky Varia. I would love to go to Japan too see all the culture and anime.
But, I have a really good friend who I can probably teach me korean, so I think I might try to go to Seoul.
You mentioned that your camera is out of service, so I'm guessing that there won't be many pictures.
Oh well, I hope you are having a great time.
And look out for Naruto stuff. Possible the biggest anime in Japan/US.

So this weekend (Friday evening to Sunday evening) I went and visited my friend. She lives in Kanagawa, but we went to Tokyo and Yokohama.

She is really cool. I have been friends with her for more than a year, but this was the first time meeting her. Best weekend ever.

It was super super awesome being able to meet one of my friends. Especially her, because she was my first Japanese friend...

There is a lot I want to say, but I just can't think of the words, so I'll just leave it like this for now.

Woah man...I am super sad now because this was way awesome. I cried.




PS if you hate on her in any way I'll gut you like a fish you slut.

I was just reminded that I should tell you guys that I am back in the U.S. and my 3-month adventure in Japan is over. I got back around noon last Thursday. The flight was only 10 hours this time instead of 13. Plus the plane had TVs in the back of each chair.

It was really awesome, and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I would like to help educate my fellow Americans on what the real Japan is like. I know you all have some crazy ideas about Japan, just like Japan has some crazy ideas about us. I'd like to act as a bridge for some of you and show you that Japan is a normal place with normal people.

I am actually planning on going back to Japan at the end of next month. My school is having like this big sports festival thing and it would be totally awesome to see it. Plus it's my only chance to see all of my friends again before my school starts and theirs ends and they go off to different places all around the country and I'll never be able to see them again.

Oh, and I bought a IIDX controller and 8th style. I wasn't really thinking about after getting back to the U.S. and not being able to play it because I don't have a mod chip or whatever. wink wink hint hint help me out
