Last night I went to the Detroit Film Theatre to see Mike Judge and Don Hertzfeldt's The Animation Show. It was really awesome. There were all kinds of different shorts, done by different artists, and it was topped off by Don Hertzfeldt's The Meaning of Life. Don Hertzfeldt was also at the performance I went to, answering questions and signing autographs. He even signed my shoe, Spartacus (yes I have named my shoe.)

I would HIGHLY recommend going if there is a show anywhere near you. I'm even considering going again next weekend, the animated shorts were really awesome. For more information about the show, along with showtimes, go to the official site, http://theanimationshow.com
[Note: Mike Judge is the creator of Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill, and he was in many movies, including Office Space. Don Hertzfeldt is the creator of the popular animated short Rejected, as well as other popular shorts like Billy's Balloon and Ah, L'Amour.]
