i got about 110m in the air... top score around 3700. got bored quickly.

I've gotten 10600m and somewhere around 700m high. My friend got to something like 21000m. Once you actually figure out how it works, the high scores don't seem so impossible.

got up to like 6000... was basically just using the blue downward boost any time i got close to stopping and i'd run into more boosts and keep going. that seems to be the best strategy.

pity the game is so boring and takes like 10-15 minutes each run.

The trick is to hit a boost and get going pretty fast, so you go above the screen. And then as soon as you re-enter the screen, click the special thing to get a boost again. That'll usually push me over 1000 or so. The rest was just hitting boost powerups correctly.
