Haha. I play all I want, have a social life, and my parents pretty much don't care much about me anymore. And besides, I will move all my stuff to the dorm few months from now. All my parents are going to do for me is to pay college.

Man, your parents are SO awful. I mean, they feed and clothe you and don't beat you, but THEY TOOK AWAY YOUR HALO. You should run away. That'll teach them. Sure, you won't have food, shelter, clothing, OR HALO, but they'll learn their lesson.

Dude, who cares if you lose Halo for a few days. It's only a game. I used to get pissed off when I was 13 and my parents took away my internet priveledges. In retrospect, it forced me to go out and get a life. Go THANK your parents for at least caring about you - there's alot out there who don't. My parents gave up on me when I was 16. You don't want that happening.

My parents grounded me from the computer and i still don't have a life =/

I agree with you two for the most part.

But it's kind of silly that his parents suddenly, and without warning, took away something of his.
Now, if they had already talked about this, it would be fine. But I don't think his dad should have just taken away his game on a whim.

I play ddr ultramix now that my dad took away halo...and halo is not "my life" but after school i do homework sometimes sleep and then the rest of the night I usually play halo..and sometimes I'll go to a basketball game...and I'm not fat or anything...I'm as fit as most people...I work out all the time...in fact I just got done playin ultramix2 online for the last 2 hours...pretty sore now thank you very much...and yeah it was really sudden to just take my game away...im over it...i realized that I need to talk to people who tell me to call them...so I did...it replaced my halo time...but when i get it back...that's pretty much all ill do since ill only have it for a period of time...and in a few months ill be moving out anyways to college...so they can f-themselves! if only you guys knew...my parents are real a-holes...but i deal...

Um, that really isn't close to my situation.

I spend way too much time on the computer and often my grades suffer from that. But if I get a B- or below by semester end I lose *EVERYTHING* (all computer, all consoles, all handhelds, no TV, not even on weekends) until summer comes, and thats in June.

You know what, i had another thought... I live in Uk and my parents are in Thailand.. i see them maybe 4 weeks a year. Miss them like crazy, so no matter what your parents do it is only because they care about you and want what is best. It may not seem like it now but you will thank them in the end. I hated my parents for 2 years before i left and now i miss them every day.. so, moral of the story.. learn from my mistakes and don't mess up the time you got with them now.. it won't last forever... just a little personal thought...

If you seriously play HALO every day I think that is just a little overboard though =\ I can't blame your parents for taking it away from you...think of it this way...spend your regular schoolnights doing someting PRODUCTIVE like studying or just going out with friends and having a social life, and maybe they'll give it back to you. And besides, atleast they're letting you play on weekends... so it's not much to complain about. I used to go to the arcade once every 2-3 days...then school started, and I'm allowed to go once a week at most. =\ Just get used to it...
