I've watched a couple of episodes of Lain. It's pretty cool, although I haven't seen all of them.

That's a good series. If you liked it I suggest you also watch the anime series Boogiepop Phantom. It's alot like Lain although the plot is very different. I know it sounds corny but it's harder to understand than Lain, you have to watch the series at least twice.

What was Lain about as you understood it? Did they mention The Wired at all?

okay, there was one alien that appeared for a minute in layer 10, in Lain's room. And there was some foreshadowing about him on the wired "chatter". also he goes to Alice's room, only has lain's face. very strange. just thought someone would know.
