Ok, my little brother was using the computer 2 nights ago, and he left open an internet browser (and i had MSN open), and he didnt exit it off. The next morning i come in, and i try to take off my screensaver by wiggling the mouse, but it just stops moving, and after about 10 minutes it finaly went off the screen. Now i saw about 7 IE windows open, and they were all popups. Now i dont use IE cause i dont like it, i use firefox, and i new that all popups wouldnt come from one website so i first exited them off. Now i began to wonder if i had the thing that my parents computer got about a year ago. They had tons of popups always popping up even if u werent using the internet, and it would lag the computer forever. What they had was somthing called "bannerfarm" but i dont think i do but they had to use the computer disk to restart their whole computer so the only things that were on it were the things their computer starts with. So i scanned my computer with Ad-aware and Nortan Antivirus at the same time, and they both came up with alot of stuff at the end. So i clicked delete on them. After deleting, both scanners came up with a window saying: the following programs could not be deleted. And about 75% of the list was on it. So i read the list of where they are and i find the program files that have them. i highlight the program file, and press delete. Then it said: the program could not be deleted because it is currently in use. So i went into my processes and found most of the files. i clicked on one, and pressed "end proccess" and it said " The operation could not be completed. Access denied." So now i dont know what to do. Please help me if you can by giving me directions, i dont want to have to reset my whole computer to the beginning.

RE: Help with virus related things.
Run your computer in safe mode and then run ad-aware. While in safe mode you can probably delete most of the stuff that can't be deleted while you are running your computer normally. It is sometimes different for computers on how to get into safe mode but to get in safe mode for me you have to hit f8 at the reboot screen thing.
