    AIM plugins

    hey, does anyone know of any good AIM plugins?... preferably free...

    I had PalFun... but for some reason it froze up my aim when i tryed to use some features... but anyway, I also tryed middle_man, but their latest version wasnt compatible with the new aim...

    All I really want is logging for convos, and winamp song integration in my profile...

    If anyone knows of any please tell... thanks!

          not unless you something in the warez section. In that case, it's illegal, and you should IM me sometime to talk about this infraction.

                          Gaim, not GAIM. It's not an acronym.

                          Anyway, what are these evil things? I used it on Windows and I use it on Linux. The only thing I've found you can't do is change buddy icons. Plus you can use it on more services than just AOL. You can use it on MSN, Yahoo!, IRC, and a lot more.

                          EDIT: Here's what its compatible with:
                          Gaim is a modular messaging client capable of using AIM, MSN, Yahoo!, Jabber, ICQ, IRC, SILC, Novell GroupWise, Napster, Zephyr, and Gadu-Gadu all at once.

                              i say choose Aimutation, and my friend downloaded trillian a while back, and all of a sudden he was getting viruses, and it wasnt working for him. I use Aimutation, and i think its good.

                                  Im also using aimutation. Its as good as DeadAIM, but with custom skinnable GUI's too.

                                          O yeah, if u wanna use Aimutation, u cant use the most updated versions of Aim, unless they recently came out with a new version of Aimutaion that i dont know of that can go with the newer versions. So if u wana use it i think u need version 5.5 of AIM or the buttons will be screwed up.

                                              Im using the latest 5.2 release of AIM + the latest release of aimutation, and its working fine for me right now. Except I cant access my Privacy settings to unblock people.
