Well I just got back now at about 12:00 AM Monday.
Where did I go on this whole trip. Started out from home, Toronto, and moved out to Québec City. It was late and we couldn't find a room so we ended up sleeping in the car outside of Québec and into New Brunswick. I woke up at about 4:00 AM and found myself very sick, throwing up. Luckily we were parked beside a bathroom. Regardless my dad drove me to a hospital where they told me I had a viral infection. They had to inject fluid and take blood from me there as well. We got a motel room and I was able to leave the hospital non-sick. The rest of they day was spent eating and sleeping. That was Saturday and Sunday.
Monday we did some basic site seeing (I hate site seeing), a covered bridge, I think the world's longest or something and some other thing which I forget. We also saw the high tide at hopefell rocks which is a place where I think it's the worlds highest tide.
Tuesday we spent at these hopefell rocks, that was probably the best part of the trip. We went there at low tide and it was rising constantly, we had to back up all the time from the water and you could see it rising basically. It ended up going really high... that part was cool. Anyway we went from New Brunswick to Nova Scotia also that day. We stopped at the info center at the Nova Scotia border where I was able to write out that other thread quickly as the free internet was also waiting to be used by others. We got to Halifax at the end of the day. This was the 2nd worst part of my trip though (first worst being sick and in hospital). That night I had to walk through downtown Halifax with my parents to get to a restaurant. This was dead embarassing, why? Because we had to walk through local teen hangouts... imagine the embarasment of the situation, walking with parents, through local teen hangouts...
Wednesday was spent in Halifax siteseeing, this wasn't all that bad though. It was kinda fun, saw the Bluenose II, a ship. The original Bluenose is on the Canadian dime so that was a bit interesting... anyway that day was basically site seeing. We stayed in Halifax again.
Thursday we left Halifax and did some site seeing in the boiling hot sun. Uh peggy's cove which was a lighthouse, that was boring. And we saw Luninburg which is one of 2 of Canada's heritage sites. I have no clue what a heritage site is. We stayed in Saint John New Brunswick. That day was boring.
Friday we went whale watching, well more like searching. A boat cruise thingy that takes us out to see whales, we saw some... small ones unfortunatly. The rest of the day was spent driving back to Toronto. Of course we wouldn't make it back that day but we were just going to drive that way. Anyway we went into the USA and stayed in Maine.
Saturday was almost entirly driving. We were going to go to Québec City and site see old Québec but all we got done was getting to Québec City. In the restaurant I had to go to the washroom. There was a H on one door and a F on the other, I assumed it stood for Homme and Femme but I wasn't sure. I was staring at them and some lady came up to me and started speaking French. I was scared. We stayed the night there in Québec.
Sunday we got up early and saw old Québec City. We then drove the rest of the day and finally got back now.
I am so glad to be back.
