I used to use it every day when I had shorter, spikey hair, but now I'm in the same boat as LD. Since it's now longer, and I like having it look wet, I use a little bit of gel.

I don't like to use hair gel. I used to when I permed my hair, because otherwise it just kind of turned into a fuzz ball. But now that the perms grown out, I don't like to put anything in my hair, and normally the worst I do to it is blow dry it (rarely). I would rather have my hair feel nice and look funny, then have it crucnh, and look ok.

Im asian but im not the stereotypical one that gels their hair. Yeah ill either wear a hat. I normally wear a hat no matter how my hair is. If my hair is short(i mean short too) then i will probably gel it. I do like to wear my hair down most of the time. too much of a hastle to gel it if im on the go (which i always am)

One time i put on hairgel for halloween, it was some weird brand and it had an allergic reaction.

About the only thing i'm allergic too also =\
