Of all the people I expected to care about forum awards over the internets, someone as smart as yourself was certainly not one of them.I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. I get pleasure from what I get pleasure from. If I find out what it is, I'll use it to my full benefit. Winning stuff makes me happy. Why wouldn't I try to win something, then?
In short, the benefit of actually caring outways the costs. At least in my book. Which is why I do it. You may think it to be childish or unintelligent, but I find it to be a great example of self-understanding. And in my field, that's an accomplishment.
