    Alright, what the hell

    For some reason, RA2:Yuri's Revenge refuses to run. It says "Main executable for Yuri's Revenge has encountered a problem and needs to close." I've re-installed three times or so.
    How in the world do I fix this?

                      Sounds like the .exe is just corrupted. Two questions. One, have you used this before, if so, how long have you had it? Two, what changed have you made or programs have you installed since the last time you played it?

                          Well, It's been a long time since I last used it. I'm installing it on a somewhat new computer.

                              It's not a new computer problem. My comp is really new and it works fine for me (in fact, a little too fine. The game goes so fast I can't do things in time and the computer beats me unless I turn the speed down)
                              So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

                              In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

                              So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
                              And I write the blog for their website.

                              Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

                                          Try installing it on another computer. If it does the same thing then your CD is corrupted. If it does't maby your comp is to weak?

                                              um.... isn't that a game from like the 80s? how could anyone's comp still be that bad? Unless its a dos compatiblity issue.

                                                  Red Alert 2: Yuri's Revenge was created in the 80's...... funny... The game is bigger than any harddrive dreamed of in the 80's buddy...

                                                      Windows XP?

                                                      If so, make sure you check the .exe properties and set it to be compatible with Windows 95. That's what made my Yuri's Revenge work.
