Probably Getting IIDX

I am probably getting IIDX, The konami official controller (the $80.00 one) and IIDX 8th Style. I'm going to have to get a chip or a fliptop or whatnot for the game but if anyone has any suggestion on what to get, like if I should get a different version of IIDX or if I should get a different controller (no not the ASC I'm not willing to spend that much ). And please don't move this to the bemani forum, no on seems to post that much in there :/
