Decent job for the first time modding a gc... I gotta do mine up in a blue soon. Probably over christmas break...

But your thing could use a second paint job with the red to go over it niceley. Use some masking tape to help yourself out with the paint job. It makes it crisp and smooth...

Yea, I used masking tape for it... When my bro did a few sides, he put it on too thick and seeped through the tape :-\... thats why around the edges of the red you see a shinier line... I went out and got a silver fine tipped paint marker because it was sloppy. im still happy with it :P, I got it for $30...

There any reason why you didn't just take it apart and paint sides individually, eliminating (for the most part, at least) the need for masking tape?

I ask this because I tried to paint an XBOX controller with masking tape, but failed. It was much easier to just take it apart. Same applies with the console itself.
