So people with no forum experience have been raiding the forums lately posting stuff like this:

i know for a fact people can be banned as i know Tastyafterbirth was banned for showing porn.!

so by showing the spammers its for mods to warn and ban instead of sticking your heads in tha sand and saying lets go to irc and TOTALY missing the reason people use the chat function

so from now on i will just send them via PM to EVERY mod somthing HAS to be done

Unfortunately, that doesn't work, because the current chat sucks. And PM'ing mods doesn't help, because

The only way you can get rid of them is by deleting their account, but creating a new one isn't an issue. You ~can~ IP ban people from the site, but Synth doesn't allow this. Meaning until we get a new chat version,

Then I don't see a problem, because obviously people can be banned from the chat.

synth won't allow the banning of users, except under EXTREME cases... so, its the same as not being able to ban people. plus, to get someone banned from chat would take giving the evidence to synth first to get his approval, etc.

and then... it just blocks their IP. most people have more than one IP that they access FFR from. so they could just make a new account and do it again from another IP.

What defines "extreme case"? Not only is flashing against the rules, but in most cases it's probably also illegal. So repeatedly breaking the law is not an "extreme case"?

i believe the The_Creeper's case is an extreme one... also THECOOLGIRLS... its not like they came in once didnt know the rules and unintentionally broke them... they came and repeated the offenses numerous times after being informed of the rules and warned for possible bannage... i understand the issues of a static ip but not everyone has them O.o
