    Wireless Broadband

I would like some feedback from anyone who has Wireless Internet or Cable, because I am considering that or Comcast. I have heard that Wireless Broadband has latency problems, and I am still trying to decide which to choose. Any comments would be appreciated.

    RE: Wireless Broadband

at home, i've had comcast cable modem for 5 years now... and about 18 months ago, we switched to a wireless router. since we have about 4 computers on the cable modem, we had a regular router before that... now switched to the wireless. no problems at all. works awesome.... i'd recommend doing that.

      RE: Wireless Broadband

the question really is, do you need the wireless connection. Are the hassles of your cable wiring as of now enough of a problem that it warrants switching to wi-fi? The latency issues of wi-fi are relative to your location and the distance of the computer from the source. Just be sure to go in and check the option for signal encryption so you dont have people jacking your ish.

I rather like my cable connection, though my ISP is Cox.
