ASCII Generator

I haven't gotten this to work for me personally (says I need a fixed-pitch font, then it gives examples. I tried the examples but it doesn't work) but I know it has worked for other people.

Basically, create ASCII banners from whatever text you enter or convert images into ASCII. Try it out, I'd like to see some before and after pictures.

Don't take it personally or anything. The last year comment is true, whether or not you stated that it was old. I probably would have said that it was old anyway, just to reiterate the point. And the one I linked to IS much better, since the one you linked to is a piece [of shit]. Sorry for trying to improve your lackluster thread.

That is not an ascii generator. All they did is put random ones and zeros close together and paint the picture on top of it. If you copy it into notepad its just a bunch of random ones and zeroes because there is no picture painted on it, and yes, it is random becauese if you get a picture that is all black or has a solid shape in it it is still is just a bunch of ones and zeros.

Deposition, you were using the HTML converter. Near the top of the page, select the ASCII converter.

Eh.. They actually just do the same exact thing (Except a bit more options with the one I posted.. a lot more) and at about the same quality. This one is just online.. Which may not always be convenient

Anyways IMO there is no comparrison between the two, the exe is waaay better, even if you dont consider the web generator using almost twice as many charaters, giving it a huge advantage.

Just look at these pictures from 8 feet away and try to say that the web (second) one looks better
