No, you give your current e-mail (not hotmail though) and we send the invite to you, which creates the new gmail account.

You enter your name, and your current email, then from that form, an email is sent to the user in the database with the most invites (me at the moment), then that user will send you an invite

It didn't work in IE, because remember, IE sucks. I've now made it so it works in IE, losers.
