    FireFox problems with Flash

I'm using Mozilla Firefox right now, and since I've ever got the browser, I've noticed that Flash and .GIF's with high framerates either go really slow or skip frames. This has prevented me from using flash for FFR.

Now, I've found out that if I move my mouse rapidly across the browser screen, the Flash and .GIF's actually go at their proper speed. Though, this would be really annoying to do while trying to play FFR at the same time.

But what really matters to me right now is how to turn off what ever is doing that so I can delete my IE. I'm using WinME if that matters.

          Uh

The PIII is most likely the problem. Sorry to point out the obvious, but do you have the latest version of flash and the quality at low? After that, try doing a spyware and virus check and clear your cache (zomg roflz). Then upgrade.

Lastest flash, quality low, no spyware, no viruses, clear cache, even tried turning off Java. Nope, nothing works. And no, I'm not getting a new Pentium just for this

I kept both Firefox and Internet Explorer. Both work fine for me. Should of kept IE too.

Flash works much better in IE then in Firefox. Especially for R2 so everyone playing ffr should get a copy of IE to play on...

There's no reason why Flash should work better in one browser over another... it's the same plugin...

Designed for different plugin architectures. Flash is assy on *NIX (framerates are HORRIBLE if you don't have a beefy processor, it seems), even though it is the same plugin.

                              Anyway, the bottom line is:
                              Macromedia sucks.
