On my 16th I got home around 8 from practice and did homework until I feel asleep from exhaustion.

Oh man like, on my 16th bithday I was beaten and told to work in the fields until about 10pm when they had me come in and eat the scraps from dinner. Then I had to go sleep on a pile of straw.

Put it this way. At our big family reunion - slash - Christmas last year, I got NO PRESENTS. NONE.

For my 17th birthday I got a roadmap, a tire pressure checker, and a gift card.

Don't worry about it. It's a common problem with parents of internet children to not know what to give to their kids. It's only because we shut ourselves in and never talk to them about anything we like.

I go for something simple every year.. A day spent with my family. Well, mostly because we celebrate OTHER PEOPLE'S BIRTHDAYS on my day.

24th is my brothers birthday
25th is my birthday
26th is my dad's birthday
27th is my cat Snowy's birthday

Usually we throw a couple together because of work and that stuff. But I still have a family fun filled day... Except for my 15th birthday, that was the worst..
