i like the merge. i think it was a good combination. i like it alot more because there main focus is on video games. they have a lot of new shows that i like. my favorit shows are arena and pulse. i also like the older shows too like call for help and the screen savers. too sum it all up, the answer to your question is YES, i do like the merge.

G4 bought out techtv, fired all of the techtv staff, then rehired the ones that were willing to move to LA.

Now all you practically see are shitty G4 shows. You have to stay up late or get up early to see anything like X-Play.
And you KNOW we're powerless to stop them, because no matter how many people complain or send hate mail, they must be doing this on purpose and saying "Our feedback from viewers has been fantastic" or something gay like that. You can imagine them in the office, just going "We need to show that our tv programs are hip and popular like how McDonalds showed how their food is hip and where it's at. It'll help us connect more with gamers and how cool we are."
Of course, I refuse to believe that any one of those people are actual gamers.
G4 makes me puke. It's down-right disgusting what they have done.Comment

Yeah, I don't like the merge. As it is now there's only 1 set of shows to pick from. Before I'd switch back and forth between the two. Like, some of the shows on G4 suck ass, like that one countdown show, or Players, or any other G4 show that seriously SUCKS ASS. So, when that crap came on I'd switch to tech tv and watch something better. Now it's like "Shit, Filter and that crappy hostess are on again, I guess I'll just go play games instead of watch game TV..."So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment
