    Brown or Blue!?

    The orc in Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring....
    The orc leader who kills Boromir... His name is Lurtz...
    The question is... Is Lurtz brown or blue?
    If you don't know who I am talking about, Google the name... You'll see...
    This was a heated debate in the chat, and I wanted to bring it to the forums...
    I think Lupin will probably have a good time in this thread...

    Personally... I think he is Brown because the only time you see him blue is in the tower, and there are blue windows all around giving him that blueish glow... Whatever...

      in a couple of pictures on google, he is blue. but in most of them, he is brown. so im going with brown.

                                  Ok, I've gone over this before- The reason why he looks blue in the tower is most likely due to a blue filter used over the lens to give the appearance of a night/dark shot. Notice how in the pictures with saurman, Saruman has a slightly blue-ish tinge in the beard and shirt.

                                  Oh, and jursey is an idiot, I actually saw a scale model of Lurtz two days ago in the exhibit they have at the Museum of Science in Boston and he was....REDDISH-BROWN.
