Problems with my Firefox

For some reason, when I dl'd the new Firefox, the only pictures that show up are .jpgs, and I don't get any sound. No YTMND for me =(. Can anyone offer any help? Everything shows up, and I hear everything when I use IE, it's only Mozilla.
