Practising MegaMan X4

Don't normally make a thread pimping my channel but I put a fair amount of work both on thr controller and in the editor to make it an actually watchable montage that I wouldn't mind getting feedback and seeing this not fall through the cracks that is YouTube's shitty algorithm.

Hate that I sound so sick in this (allergies not Covid, thank the Lord) but it is what it is.

And as always, likes and shares help a ton so if you enjoy it and know someone else in your life who would then do ya thing

Edit: now that it isn't the first of April, tis be fair to warn you this was uploaded the first of April. This was a really fun video to make and I hope you guys got a laugh out of it

Holy moly, the load times for X4 are insane.

Never played it, but seeing that makes me go, w h e w. Must be a rough game to actually speedrun if you're in the grove, lol.

No joke you should! Speed running is fun I'm just bad at it hahaha, and a lot of my favorite games aren't suited for it (fighters, IIDX)

Kinda am itchin's to grind a platformer lately, tho.

You play iidx my guy? haven't played that in a while. Also what fighters do you play and on what platform you can hit me up and play some if you want.

Megaman x4 though is def a game i've considered speedrunning as a full time thing as it is one of my favorite games of all time.

as for the other X games my thoughts are publically known but so we're clear

X1: fucking industry defining game nuff said
X2: while not as defining as the first def not a game to be slept on.
X3: in comparison to the first 2 it's kinda meh but TBH it's not terrible.
X4: Easily one of the best games i've played on any platform period.
X5: Diet X2 if it and X4 had a kid.
X6: Not the worst game but certainly mediocre.
X7: See my response to shadow gods thread on the topic from 2019 to know how I feel about this absolute dogshit game.
X8: inbetween X5 and X6

regardless of that we should talk some about any strats on discord as the last time I tried running this a few years back it was vastly different.

Yeah, my mother actually ordered a DJ Dao for an early birthday gift so I'm hyped about that.

Don't get your hopes up because mt work schedule is horeshit for at least another week but right now we've been playing a lot of KoF2002 when we can, although I'll play almost any fighter. Main system is PS4, main ones I'm fairly confident at are Tekken, Soul Calibur and Guilty Gear Strive when that releases.

Because Tekken is PC only this EVO, I'll be getting that soon. Wanna enter that, Strive and Street Fighter V this year. Got some more KoF on PC as well, but not super great at them

That assessment on the X titles seems about right, although IDK if I share that same excitement for X4. It's hard not to declare X1 the best and move on, but there's an appeal to the later ones that's hard to pinpoint (Zero; it's how fucking cool Zero is)

I think I gave all my other thoughts in the video so I'll leave it at that.
