It's funny, as a kid, I thought Chao were the shit and loved everything about it in Sonic Adventure 2.

Now when I see other people get into it via streams. It's very uncomfortable to the point where I question how I got so fond of the stuff. Especially when some of the requirements to raise certain Chao takes an astronomical amount of grinding and time.

My friend showed me a bunch of his Chao that were maxed out and I was like, "so what do they do?" He started explaining and then just settled with "nothing really" and laughed. Inside I knew he was crushed though lol

At least when you get a gold chocobo in FF7 you end up with Knights of the Round
