Nah, good ol' American BBQ is mainly just burgers and brats. Budweiser if often cited as the "Most American" beer, but it is now also owned by a foreign parent company. It's pretty emblematic of America.

I feel like I should clarify my American BBQ comment -

July 4th BBQs are of the "Backyard BBQ" variety, and mainly burgers and brats.

Southern BBQ has pulled pork and the like, and is freakin amazing.

We just had a dinner with just one of my uncles coming over to spend some time. It was a nice surprise actually since we didn't plan on anyone coming over.
