Get a partner to ask you random simple math questions while you are playing a file made for your division and see if you can AAA and correctly answer the questions. You have to answer the questions within 3 seconds of them being asked.

I used to use my raw score at the bottom and current combo to determine how many goods I had on the legacy engine back before it was the legacy engine lul

Isnt it exactly 150? 200 bpm 12ths = 150 bpm 16ths

2 x 12 = 24
1.5 x 16 = 24
(1 x 24 = 24)

Same beats per minute

Or if ur not mathematically inclined just remind urself rave7 oni (200 24ths) is the same speed as disregard (300 16ths)

Cuz 15 is 1/4 of 60 seconds thats cute. I never thought about nps tbh cuz i never had a stepmania build with that feature

its a joke i've been doing accurate on the fly denomination conversions to 16ths since 2007

back then it was even harder since you had to do the rate multiplier too

the point i was getting at is that anyone who can figure out what 24ths would be at 16ths at a given bpm is already doing simple math

but then again nobody can do that while playing ffr because you never know the bpm of anything

Lmao i love doing this kinda math while i scroll through the stepmania wheel (lol thats how ancient my build is)

Stepmania has taught me how to hear a song and know the bpm lol

yeah no one uses the musicwheel anymore tbh i just look up the youtube video of the file, open up notepad and remake the .sm in there, write my own game in batch to parse the file and show it using ascii
