got the news this morning that one of my buddies that I grew up with in church took his own life overnight. one of the goofiest motherfuckers I ever knew. my heart's broken. is this what losing a friend to suicide truly feels like? I've often thought about what the reactions would be if I killed myself, but now that I'm the one with the broken heart, I wouldn't wish this on anyone, ever.

rest in peace my dude. you will be forever missed.

Above all else, please make sure you're not blaming yourself. That's the worst thing you can do, as I can guarantee you it's not your fault one bit.
