Hi, just stopping in like a pit stop on a road trip to visit your old childhood home.

What's new? Is Synthlight still around and leading FFR into its future? Is Lightdarkness still here running tournaments? Is Jewpinthethird still being awesome?

And most importantly... is Lethal Injection still like the totally best song on this site? Be honest...

I can't believe I'm still within the top 200 top forum posters here. Man, I spent a lot of time here when I was a kid. I've been reading some of my old posts, cringing along the way. Thank god Facebook wasn't around yet during those blunder years.

How old are the general forum users nowadays? I must have been in my mid-teens whenever I first started posting.

Yooo, a whole lot of new shit. Synth is still the owner but isn't active on the forums. LD left after the site was revived. Jewpin hasn't been around in forever. Lethal Injection is horrid.

And most forum users are late teens to mid twenties.

The format of FFR the game is really different now. There's no music on the menu or anything. I guess the song list was getting too big to navigate through its traditional design? That's a good thing. I remember when the site first started it took forever before a single new song was added.

A lot has changed, and a lot has stayed the same The up-to-date version of the game is R^3 and it works crazy good.

We're all currently waiting for VGMP4 to come out for stepmania before moving on to new projects (hurry up macgravel)

@thesunfan - lol. I'm actually really amused by the love-hate relationship people have with that song/file. As much hate as it gets, it also seems to have its die-hard fans. Welcome back, the people here are more or less just the same, albeit a bit of age. I think a lot of us are at least very close to approaching the 20 mark or have surpassed it. Cool to still be in the same family of users that were around many years ago.

I'm guessing there are a few here who have Jewpin on Facebook or some such.

Clearly, Lethal Injection is only getting hate from these new weirdos because the new game engine has a setting to disable backgrounds, which everyone always has selected in order to be able to feasibly play party 4u. Otherwise, they'd see Lethal Injection's glorious background, and the true genius of the file would be more recognizable for them.



(P.S. "these new weirdos" is tongue-in-cheek; I've hung out with cedolad on multiple occasions, am currently living with thesunfan, and have met up with everyone else who's posted in this thread at least once. Crazy world.)
