Emoticons Disabled

I think i speak 4 evry1 when i say emoticons need to be vanquished. Recently it seems like alot of ....new people(to say it nicely) have been comin into the chatroom and just spamming. Its like wow do u really need attention that much? NEwayz i think emoticons should be takin out of the chatroom for like a few weeks =/

While they can get sometimes annoying, most of the people who use them when they get in don't do it just for attention. It's a cool feature in a new chatroom for them, and they have to see what each one does. I've talked to the person who created the chatroom, and he said that if anything, they will be adding more emoticons, because that is one of the more attractive features of the chat.

You have to admit that you went through them on your first time coming into the chat, it's just something people like to experiment with. I usually give a warning to people who look like they're new to try them out in another room because it can get annoying, and i'd say 75% of the time, people apologize and stop.

Sometimes though, they are obviously spamming...and whether or not the emoticons are there wouldn't really solve this problem.
