It's about time. I'm pretty fucking nerdy when it comes to all things camera related. You are welcome to show photos here, please use spoiler tags if it is large.
Few questions:
-What type(s) of photography are your favourite
-Do you have either a favourite photographer or a favourite photo?
-What camera equipment do you own?
-Out of what you own, what gets used the much and which do you enjoy the most?
Answers:
-For me my favourite photography is REALLY good scenery+portraiture combos.. like girl in white dress in a dread forest sorta thing. Honestly though anything just perfectly shot and sharp is admirable to me.
-I don't, actually. I just follow the Canonrumour forums. So far my fav pic I've taken is this guy with my macro lens (newest one).
-Fuck this question it makes me sad lol. I've owned (the kitlens too) and a 100mm f/2.8 (non IS) macro, upgrade to the MP-E 65m specialized lens. I own a 10-22mm wide angle lens (rocks!) both a 50mm f/1.8 and 50mm f/1.4. I use one more than the other... And last but nothing matches the fidelity of my 70-00mm f/2.8 IS. Just got a fairly basic tripod and a 430 with a remote wire.
-The BODY I have is a Canon 6D, it seemed like the perfect choice for me.
Dream build: two options - 1DX II and all necessary lenses
- Some future 1.6x crop body that comes around with full frame performance from canon. Sigma has the 18-35mm f/1.8, and now they have the fucking 50-100 f/1.8 lens now. With an extender, and because all those focal lengths are times 1.6x (they always say the full frame equivalents..) keeping my wide angle lens, having 80mm f/1.8 in itself a BEAUTIFUL portrait lens. Dunno man.
SO what's your camera lifestyle like, do you lust for the best image quality you can get like me and lose all your money or do phones look better these days :P

honestly glass is worth every penny to me... assuming it's resale value doesn't go way down!
