She's teaching me how to sing, I'm still pretty bad though and far from posting a video of me singing. She's trying to get out there though and maybe join a band. She's also the best singer I've ever heard in person. The video is mostly small excerpts of her singing.

Why not make a video of yourself anyway ? It might be horrible but hey it's not like anyone would judge lol, and it's always fun to have before/afters ^^ Good luck to both of you.

Yeah she's got a nice voice. I wouldn't call it the best ever (no offence intended, just my opinion) but it's certainly pleasant.

Has she considered going on any talent shows like The Voice or X-Factor?

After skimming a few FFR threads I'm pretty sure I'd get a lot of judgement/trolling for being bad. I've been out singing at some local karaoke things and I'm not the worst one there so I guess that's progress.

She is a pretty good singer! Also if I learned anything from FFR Idol, it's that Opkiller is right, in general the community will be pretty supportive

Yeah, that did sound really good... Around :40 or so she does this seamless jump that sounded very alanis morissette-esque. Nice voice. And what local karaoke things? I'll come record you to give the people what they want, come on let's do this hahaha
