.hack//sign was good, slow, but good (not the Cartoon Network version), .hack//Liminaitglachbasdw OVAs were...meh, .hack//dusk made my brain ooze in a bad way.
The .hack//games were fun though, but 4 was pushing it.
InuYasha: Havent seen it/dont want to see it.
Ruroni Kenshin: OVAs were awesome awesome AWESOME. Samurai X sucked, and the series sucks.
Yu Yu Hakusho: Meh, at least it is better than DragonballZ
Naruto: The Next Dragonball Z
Outlaw Star: Very good, not my favorite, but deserves and honorable mention.
Trigun: Overrated.
Pokemon: Alright show (when I was 12), the Gameboy games are still awesome though.
Excel Saga: Funny, weird, nothing more.
FLCL: awesome show. awesome sound track. One of my top three favorite. Downside: cartoon network aired spawning a festering trend of Fooly Cooly Otaku nerds who like anything Japanese because it is Japanese with no respect for the culture.
RahXephon: Another awesome show. One of my top three favorite. Downside: Episodes 1-9 (out of 26) were Evangelion rip-offs and very unoriginal. But the ending and movie were awesome.
Evangelion: The anime that got me into anime and my all time favorite. The movies are awesome, the show is awesome, the music is awesome. Everything is awesome. Downside: They are making an American Movie based off of Evangelion (milking the cash cow for all its worth) which very well might end up destroying the Evangelion legacy. And even if it is really good, it might still destory the legacy, like Lord of the Rings. Now every nit-wit in America is a Tolken fan, some may not even know the movies are based off of books.
What about Love Hina? You can't be an anime fan and not love Keitaro and Naru! Anyway I liked when back in the day, many people didn't know what anime was. Nowadays like Jewpin says, just because you watched FLCL one time, you're automatically an Anime Fan. W00T I bet many of those who say they are anime fans haven't even watched Akira, one of the greatest anime of all time.
