how much space do you need? are you planning on building a permanent website?

if you don't desire a ton of space, you can register with some free hosts like Zymic or 000webhost.

If you want a straightforward domain/hosting package and you don't plan on having a high-traffic website, GoDaddy is actually a fair choice. They're a little expensive but the ease of use is great.

My brother uses Siteground and he's been happy with their service also. Basically anything but HostGator or affiliated companies will probably be fine.
Check out Guessthatalbum.com for a fun music-related game.

I don't recommend zymic, I've been having lots of issues logging into their site and have had lots of downtime problems in the past

ask Reuben_Tate for an opinion on HostGator and you might get a different response idk.
