i hate that game...i think i beat it once, and then i couldnt remember how i did it. oh well, screw that crap. it's totally riggedSo I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

I've played this game a while back, and I beat it this time on my third try. It's really not that hard..just let him go first, start over, mimic what his first move was, then take note of what his second move is. Then start over, let him go first, let him do his first move, then do what he did to counter it. Eventually you'll figure out a pattern that he can't beat. Now if you want a REAL challenge, try pearls before swine THREE: http://www.transience.com.au/pearl3.html . It starts out very easy but eventually you'll be facing six rows and roughly 15 pearls per row...its horribly difficult. One day there will be a really cool sig here. But not right now.

The original Pearls Before Swine (3 rows) was rigged so that no matter how you played, you lose. I calculated it. There isn't a possible way to win. I'm talking about the 3, 4, 5 game...or the 4 5 6.. I can't remember. I just remember figuring out every possible move he can make and knowing shortly after that he can't lose.
