People with ecigs should still be considerate- i.e. ask before using them around other people if you're indoors. The vapor can be visually annoying too.

Even though i bashed against smoking in the previous thread i actually think ecigs are way better than traditional cigarettes in many ways. They're not perfect, and (rightfully so) people will still get annoyed by them, but it's a nice shift nevertheless.

This is not always (or often, in my experience) true. It's still infinitely preferable to cigarette smoke, but they're still going to be a mild irritant to a group of people (in that, in a group of people, there's likely going to be someone who doesn't appreciate the scent).

I hate cigarettes with a passion, so I quite like the popularity of ecigs, but they're not perfect.

Understandable how the scent may be annoying to some, but nothing is more irksome to me than the smell of actual cigarette smoke. I do agree that vapers should ask before they start blowing the shit in your face though :P
