if I come to a meetup I could bring my pad setup. its only one pad obviously but its an Omega ITGX w/ platform and regulation size (roughly, within an inch or so) ddr bar

If you make that far of a drive, are you sure you want to bring that much? Assuming you bring clothes, toiletries, etc.

Would be cool to hook up some metal pads to my computer and play from my 65" tv. I think there is a enough room to make it work.

Anytime I ever went somewhere I was able to throw clothes and shit into a backpack. and I was just fine.

The best course of action is to see if there are people in your general direction that would be willing to go. Those people meet up half way or where ever, and then you can split the gas costs and take one car from there.

4 hours of driving is like 30 bucks for me. Not that huge of a deal...I could drive straight to Kansas without going half way or anything.

Yeah, it's more of a statement for the people in Wisconsin and Denver, or if there are some in Texas that would go. Those people can find someone nearby that they would roadtrip with. I'm sure I know of some people in Minneapolis that would go, but its a little bit of a detour

it fits in my trunk no problemo, it breaks down really easily and can be put back together with nothing but a screwdriver.

also of course I'd see if anyone would be along the way for carpool purposes, this is all a big theoretical discussion though, and being an 8 hour drive I wouldn't be looking for too much of a detour, Twin City's though, for example, would add like 6 hours to the drive and I'm not really too keen on that

this is all cool to think about and whatnot, but for practical purposes I obviously can't promise anything until I know more details (like how many days I'd need to get off of work and the like), and of course anything before June is basically out of the question for me unfortunately, 40 hour work weeks + class = no free time
