So I recently started playing stepmania again in my free time for fun; however, I noticed that even with my regular speed mod, the arrows really seem blurry to me even if I don't feel fatigued. Its even worse if i see streams over 300 bpm. Does this happen to anyone else? Any sort of remedy? Maybe my eyes are just getting worse. Even when I wear my glasses, it doesn't really help the issue. I do not spend loads of time on my computer like I once did.
Any help with this?

Re: Any help with this?
Possibly. I may try getting some sort of allergy meds like haku suggested...or even just figuring out what the problem is. Usually during this time of season, my eyes will turn red in the corners regardless how well I am hydrated. If that doesn't work, I guess I could go visit the optomistrist to see if it's a health related issue. I have noticed when I got rid of my 120hz monitor and switched to 75hz it did make reading a little more difficult. But my MA didn't really change nor has my speed.Last edited by xNiX; 03-3-2014, 01:25 PM.Comment

Re: Any help with this?
I used to play on C735, now I play on C690 because 735 was too fast. So I think finding a comfortable speed is a fairly good thing to try and do.Comment

My life goal in stepmania is to be able to play at c1000 and not be awkward at it

Re: Any help with this?
i know this has happened to me several times. vsync can sometimes cause blurriness, as can certain noteskins (orbular is really blurry for me). as you said, using a monitor with a different refresh rate can take some time to get used to, even if your settings are otherwise the same.
i'd say just get used to it, but that's because i don't really know how to fix this.Comment
