This is probably the first that comes close to fitting that description. I've also probably made less than 5 threads in the past year.hey look another thread by izzy about something that teeters on the edge of a personal incredulity fallacyComment

Re: Facebook / WhatApp nonsense
A lot of people in the US.
Also, I like the idea of the software, but I wish other services would adopt it. Apple has something KIND OF similar with iMessage, but why can't Skype or Google Hangouts do something similar? I guess Facebook might roll some of the functionality into their messager/voip chat, and that should push adoption further, I just wish that more could be done with it. I don't like that we're in an era of TINY COMPUTERS IN OUR POCKETS and we're still using voice/sms tech that's been around FOREVER. I think everything should go through straight Internet, and I support this ideal so much that I canceled my Verizon service and now exclusively use voip calls/SMS.
I read an article that said Google almost bought it not long ago. I feel like Google would have made better use of the acquisition than Facebook. Look at how Google has adopted some features from Waze into their Google Maps after they bought that, and yet, they still kept Waze a separate entity for the hardcore fans of that app.
