hot dogs are just sacks of meat in the shape of a floppy dick. people didn't want that visual while eating so they squirted blood ketchup on it to keep their sanity. humans are extremely perverted and horny creatures as you know. anyway, eventually some *** thought it was funny so they put it between two buns as a joke, but it also tasted pretty good so it stuck. nowadays people express their distaste by putting puke coloured condiments on their hotdogs like horse radish, sauerkraut, relish, mustard etc.
