As a smoker, i have to admit i wish i never started smoking cigarettes. The toll it has taken on my health and my money is ridiculous. Things like natural tobacco used by Native Americans and Hookah are fine because they do not contain all the things in cigarettes. Nicotine naturally occurs in tobacco in small amounts, but the things they add to cigarette tobacco, i.e. arsenic, formaldehyde, and other substances not meant to be consumed, burn together and create artificial nicotine. I for one don't think its right they can have a law against marijuana, which hasn't killed anyone except for like someone who is too stoned while driving and gets in a wreck, but legally be able to sell this monster that kills people everyday.

The charcoal used to heat the tobacco can raise health risks by producing high levels of carbon monoxide, metals, and cancer-causing chemicals. Natural hookah or not.

korny is correct on that one, which is why i don't smoke hookah very often, it's bad enough i smoke cigs.
